We got brunch at the Original Pancake House, where the boy got the worlds biggest omelet. That thing was the size of my face! Got some groceries and movies, then made our way home. Pete and Adrienne invited us to go play mini-golf, so we went to this place in Cranberry that had putt-putt, go carts and batting cages. We decided to do the two hour fun pass, and definitely got our money worth. I lost at golf (duh) and sucked at the batting cages (apparently eight years of softball meant nothing?) but I kicked butt a few rounds in go carting ;)

Spent the whole day with the boy, and it was great. We started off the day by going to Trader Jack's where I got peaches and candles. Then, we went to Tanger Outlets and we both got some new clothes (yay sales!) Dinner at Rochester Grille and then finished the night off with a drive-in flick(s) with Katie and Ryan. The boy had never been to the drive-in before, so it was a new experience for him!

2009 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!!! That's ALL I can say for today. I am SO HAPPY!! They definitely deserved to win, especially the after the turn around they had midway through the season. Pittsburgh really IS the City of Champions :)

Excuse the craptastic TV photo, but its Sid getting the first lift of Lord Stanley!

We had another lab day today. We had to check things out under the microscope, including our own cheek cells. It was pretty cool! It kinda felt like that scene from Twilight, minus the whole sexy Edward Cullen vampire thing.

I've been working crazy hours this week (with little to no sleep) so to relax, I decided to take a bubble bath before work. It didn't cure my exhaustion, but it helped! Basking in the hot water with some candles and the new Cosmo -- bliss, I tell you.

Even though I probably should have caught up on sleep -- I took this afternoon as an opportunity to catch up on some school work. Exam #2 for Psych is due this week, so I took that and got another "A"(woot!) and then decided to work on the dreaded Bio test. Luckily, Casey, who is a molecular bio fiend (you think I joke?) was kind enough to help me out, and I pulled off a "B" -- yessss. Topped off with a 2-hour nap and a Pens victory, it was a decent evening.

I literally spent all morning/afternoon watching TV on my laptop. The weather was crappy and I had no where to be until 5p, so, I decided to mosey on over to Fancast.com and check out an episode of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! partly because my mom was hoping I watched it so she'd have someone to talk to about it, but mostly because I was curious about the hype. Basically, I wanted to punch Spencer in the face 5 minutes in to it (already hated him) and then, I got suckered in to watching all of last weeks episodes. Oy. Reality TV is certainly addicting, I won't deny that.
