Opened my mailbox this afternoon and was totally pumped to see this -- AND I PASSED!! I definitely screamed, causing the cat to fly across the room in complete terror. oops! But this means that I can officially apply to the Nursing Program, and it puts me one step closer to wearing scrubs to work everyday :)

We got back to Pittsburgh today and made a pit stop at Chipotle for lunch. We had a free burrito coupon, so why not? I had never HAD Chipotle before, but I was impressed. I actually LIKE burritos! Who would have thought?? Then, the boy and I both had to go to work since we are poor, and decided to pick up shifts. Glad I did, cause I made a decent chunk of change in four hours!

We traveled to Mayville, NY today for Diane's wedding. Another one of my friends is married! The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was a blast. I got to spend time with all of my college ladies and the boy danced a lot! I was pleased. We definitely had a good time!

Met Renz this evening for dinner and drinks at Mad Mex. After my own margarita, I had to help her finish her carafe of sangria. What can I say? It was a long day.

Babysat for Quinn today. We had a morning full of storytime, Word World, Cars and playing in the sand. Finished off the night with a (not so much) profitable evening at work!

This is the cinnamon roll pudding that hurt my tummy :( Of course, it only hurt because I ate it after it had been sitting in my purse overnight, not being refrigerated. ouch. Shame on me!

Took my NET again. I have a better feeling this time, so hopefully its right! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. After I finished the test, I made my way down to school for the rest of class. I snapped a photo of the view from our classroom window. Pretty sweet, huh? We might get a decent view once in awhile during a Monday Night Football game!

The boy and I spent the day getting caught up on laundry and grocery shopping. After dinner, Katie and Ryan came over and we all went to get ice cream. While the boys played video games, Katie and I took a trip to Sonic for limeades and then we came back and she helped tutor me on my math for tomorrow's NET exam. I think it really helped! Thanks Renz!

I had to work a random 2:30-11:30p shift at the station today. I hadn't worked this shift in FOREVER..but I really didn't mind it! It went really fast, and its so low key and laid back. This was a photo of my snack :)

After work, I headed over to Renz's house to hang with her while she finished baking cookies for the weekend. We ordered a pizza and salads and just hung out. She also got the urge to build this new shelf she bought, so while she did that, I watched her (and also fell asleep)The rest of the night was spent hanging with the boy for a relaxing friday night.

I went to Idlewild today with my sister, nephew, two of my sisters friends and their little girl. What a blast! Well, the park itself is kinda lame for anyone under the age of, like, 5 -- but going with Joey was so much fun. He really enjoyed himself and I loved taking him on rides, and watching him have fun with everything. He's getting so big!

Ugh. Fall semester started today. Before class, I took a nap with the little furry dude. He's such a good nap partner..always willing to nap! As for class, its going to be a tougher semester. Micro-biology isn't exactly the easiest class in my book!

Last day of camping :( On our way back home, we stopped at the fire tower to show the newbies. We then had a delicious meal at Vinny's and then said our goodbye's, making our way back to Pittsburgh. When we got back, I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and such. It was a fab weekend and sooo awesome to "get away"!

Today was a productive day in Cook Forest. We woke up and had a delicious breakfast cooked by Renz, spent a couple hours canoeing on the Clarion River, and then later, Renz and I went horseback riding. It was a blast! We also fit in go-karts, putt-putt and dinner at Pizza Pub. The night ended with some strong drinks, s'mores and Apples to Apples under the stars :)

Camping weekend starts!! Our first stop off the road was "The Roadhouse" for some yummy eats. Afterwards, we all went to see The Time Traveler's Wife, then made a pit stop for groceries and off to our "cabin" in the woods. And so it begins!

Yes folks, I really DID receive this as a tip today. This woman honestly had the audacity to leave me a 56 cent tip. Really? Really. I was so amused and appalled, I had to document this moment. Oh, and this is AFTER she asked me if WPXI was hiring. Yeaaaa.

Renz and I hosted our own "Pure Romance" party. We didn't have a huge turnout, but it was still a blast! Megan, the consultant, knows how to make the party fun. I ended up with some goodies, including Coochy. It's pretty much the best shave cream I've ever tried -- and the name is quite funny too.

When I got off of work this morning, the sun was shining and it was pretty hot outside. The boy and I decided to spend some time outdoors, so we went to my apartment pool for awhile. I laid out for awhile, took a quick dip in the freeezing water. We both got burnt, but yay color! Then, we headed over to the mall to shop around a bit. The rest of the night is spent being chill. I had a roast cooking in the crockpot all day, so we had that for dinner paired with smashed potatoes and asparagus.

Ah, another early morning weekend at the station. A co-worker needed off, so I agreed to work. Working with "Big Guy" is always a treat. haha. I snapped this picture of him on one of his many trips to stare at the TV really close between breaks. After work, thy boy and I grabbed Subway and snuck it in to G.I Joe which was surprisingly good for a dude movie! Later, we just hung out and has taco salad's for dinner and now its going to be early to bed for me thanks to work bright and early!

I forgot to grab a picture today :( Had a productive day though! Met up with Katie and Elisa for lunch at Panera, followed by getting my eyebrows waxed and then an Old Navy stop. Afterwards, I met up with the boy and we saw Funny People then went to buy clippers and shaved his head! I'm still trying to get used to the look. haha.

Went to the Creed concert tonight, for FREE! Ryan B. and I both got free tickets through work, so the four of us went. We grabbed dinner at Bahama Breeze beforehand, the battled the crazy traffic to get to the Post-Gazette Pavilion. The boys used it as an opportunity to sell the extra tickets, and it worked! They ended up making like $40 each. Crazy men. The concert was good though, and we got to witness the first show back since the reunion. Terry and his friend were sitting behind us, which was even better :)

Terrible tragedy in Pittsburgh tonight :( A man went into the Bridgeville LA Fitness and gunned down several people, killing three women. It's so crazy to me how no one is safe. Anywhere. Even working out in an aerobics class. It's a sad, sad world we live in.

Started the "30 Day Shred" today. Oh boy! That "little" 20-minute workout was rough! I'm not even sedentary, so I can't imagine someone who NEVER works out being able to handle it. haha. I am gonna be sorrrre tomorrow. This is my craptastic, after workout photo.

I love being home in Erie, and waking up to this little dude running around, calling for "Tatie" -- he's too cute and full of personality! I kept playing the beginning of The Backyardigans because he dances to it. Like, spins around in circles and claps. hahah.

Cousin's wedding today! They lucked out and had a gorgeous day, so all was a "go" for the outdoor ceremony. It was right over the lake too. Ahh, I love Erie sometimes! The reception was a good time and I became BFF's with the Sea Breeze's. ha. Later, I took a nap and woke up with a slight hangover (a middle of the day hangover!!) and went to Dominick's with Melanie and Guy. mmm good!
