Opened my mailbox this afternoon and was totally pumped to see this -- AND I PASSED!! I definitely screamed, causing the cat to fly across the room in complete terror. oops! But this means that I can officially apply to the Nursing Program, and it puts me one step closer to wearing scrubs to work everyday :)

We got back to Pittsburgh today and made a pit stop at Chipotle for lunch. We had a free burrito coupon, so why not? I had never HAD Chipotle before, but I was impressed. I actually LIKE burritos! Who would have thought?? Then, the boy and I both had to go to work since we are poor, and decided to pick up shifts. Glad I did, cause I made a decent chunk of change in four hours!

We traveled to Mayville, NY today for Diane's wedding. Another one of my friends is married! The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was a blast. I got to spend time with all of my college ladies and the boy danced a lot! I was pleased. We definitely had a good time!

Met Renz this evening for dinner and drinks at Mad Mex. After my own margarita, I had to help her finish her carafe of sangria. What can I say? It was a long day.

Babysat for Quinn today. We had a morning full of storytime, Word World, Cars and playing in the sand. Finished off the night with a (not so much) profitable evening at work!

This is the cinnamon roll pudding that hurt my tummy :( Of course, it only hurt because I ate it after it had been sitting in my purse overnight, not being refrigerated. ouch. Shame on me!

Took my NET again. I have a better feeling this time, so hopefully its right! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. After I finished the test, I made my way down to school for the rest of class. I snapped a photo of the view from our classroom window. Pretty sweet, huh? We might get a decent view once in awhile during a Monday Night Football game!

The boy and I spent the day getting caught up on laundry and grocery shopping. After dinner, Katie and Ryan came over and we all went to get ice cream. While the boys played video games, Katie and I took a trip to Sonic for limeades and then we came back and she helped tutor me on my math for tomorrow's NET exam. I think it really helped! Thanks Renz!

I had to work a random 2:30-11:30p shift at the station today. I hadn't worked this shift in FOREVER..but I really didn't mind it! It went really fast, and its so low key and laid back. This was a photo of my snack :)

After work, I headed over to Renz's house to hang with her while she finished baking cookies for the weekend. We ordered a pizza and salads and just hung out. She also got the urge to build this new shelf she bought, so while she did that, I watched her (and also fell asleep)The rest of the night was spent hanging with the boy for a relaxing friday night.

I went to Idlewild today with my sister, nephew, two of my sisters friends and their little girl. What a blast! Well, the park itself is kinda lame for anyone under the age of, like, 5 -- but going with Joey was so much fun. He really enjoyed himself and I loved taking him on rides, and watching him have fun with everything. He's getting so big!

You can't read it, but that bumper sticker says "Do you think you could drive any better with that phone up your ass?" hehe. I am totally guilty of talking/texting while driving, but I still got a kick out of that sticker!

Ugh. Fall semester started today. Before class, I took a nap with the little furry dude. He's such a good nap partner..always willing to nap! As for class, its going to be a tougher semester. Micro-biology isn't exactly the easiest class in my book!

Last day of camping :( On our way back home, we stopped at the fire tower to show the newbies. We then had a delicious meal at Vinny's and then said our goodbye's, making our way back to Pittsburgh. When we got back, I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and such. It was a fab weekend and sooo awesome to "get away"!

Today was a productive day in Cook Forest. We woke up and had a delicious breakfast cooked by Renz, spent a couple hours canoeing on the Clarion River, and then later, Renz and I went horseback riding. It was a blast! We also fit in go-karts, putt-putt and dinner at Pizza Pub. The night ended with some strong drinks, s'mores and Apples to Apples under the stars :)

Camping weekend starts!! Our first stop off the road was "The Roadhouse" for some yummy eats. Afterwards, we all went to see The Time Traveler's Wife, then made a pit stop for groceries and off to our "cabin" in the woods. And so it begins!

The boy and I discovered that the restaurant down the street has 35 cent wings. Ummm, awesome? So, we pay that place a visit once in awhile cause its so very yummy and who's counting the calories? ;p
